dr-dos 7.03 has a tendency to rem out things in config.sys and autoexec.bat
temporarily that you can restore later once you have a working installation.
What you probably want to do is run diagnose /a in your soundblaster
directory and do all the tests and don't give it a path for windows and run
it to its end. diagnose /a will adjust things in config.sys and
autoexec.bat correctly if it can do that with your new system. In all
cases, select the auto test option and let diagnose.exe find all of the new
necessary settings. If that old sb card has jumpers on it it's unlikely but
you may need to adjust them since dr-dos may have had a conflict with the
sound card at its current address.
