In that case, hunt down whoever wrote the HTML parser in your browser and
smack them.

There are various ways to cause a browser to crash, few of which involve bad
HTML.  For instance, the perfectly valid <IMG SRC="NUL:"> used to cause a
BSOD on Windows machines, and <IMG SRC="/dev/null"> throws some Unix
browsers into a loop.  <IMG SRC="/dev/mouse"> used to be a favourite when
Mosaic on X was the most common platform -- it'd freeze the mouse cursor on
certain setups.

That's a neat trick, how's it done?  JavaScript and Java have nothing to do
with HTML.  Perhaps you mean 'web pages' rather than HTML.
