Well, MSN might not be a pseudo-isp, but I'd bet you have to run Win9X
or higher, as well as MS IE4 or higher to connect and use it! I've
tried accessing MSN.COM from other browsers, and the site is only partly
usable to anything other than IE4 and up, due mainly to massive use
of ActiveX, JavaScript and Windows Scripts. Even HotMail only partly
works with anything less than IE4. So, my guess is your friend will not
be able to access the Internet using MSN without using Windows 9X and IE
4 or up!
