Hello:

Does anyone know if msn.com is a pseudo ISP of the type that limits
access only to the operating systems and software which they approve of?
I ask this because somebody I know got sucked into a three year contract
with msn.com and she wants to know if her ISP can be accessed with
operating systems and software that are not approved by Micro$oft.
You know how strongly they feel against such undesireable customers who
aren't buying their latest operating systems and software and who aren't
interested in downloading and installing their upgrades and who aren't
buying a brand new computer every year.

I wonder if the brilliant systems engineers at msn.com have done
something to "fix" their ISP so as to deliberately cause the older
Windows operating systems and the older versions of MSIE to run so much
slower than they used to. As you all know, Bill Gates has cultivated
quite an obsession for wanting to "fix" any system that works.
