Hi All, I have an old Unisys 486 server currently running win 95 and serving up peer to peer file shares on a survpc /non survpc home network. I just added an old full height 8 gig SCSI drive to the system for some more storage (that thing is about 10 pounds of HD brick :). 8 gigs is not enough. I was planning on compressing the drive because I really need about 16 gigs of storage on one drive letter. I formatted the new drive w/ fat32. When I jumped back into win 95 to compress it I received the message "Drivespace 3 is not comptaible w/ fat32"
Does anyone know a free drive compression program that will run on a surv PC (win 95) and be compatible w/ fat 32? What are my other options? I am running win 95 simply because it was quick and easy to set up and create a share. TIA, John PS Chad, The unisys is still living a productive live and will continue much longer if I pull this off. :) To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message.
