Hi Steven,

Well, i have an alternative for ~IRC~ and there's `DeskView' that i
might try with `PktMux' + `LSICQ' (DOS), i guess. ~IRC~ is a bonus that
one gets with `Odigo' (W95) and the like, i saw the open-source `Jabber'
project somewhere (at jabber.org i suppose?), euh... It makes me wonder
if there's something for `Basic Linux' (such as `LICQ' etc., i believe).
Thanks for the offer anyway! Personnaly, if i have the choice i'll
move in favour of a diferent priority: having `ZMoDem' & `Kermit' side-
by-side in `MiniCOM', for example. In any case, i seen the changes made
to `Basic Linux' after a previous version i had, i thank you for it too!

I'm not much into batch-writting just for the fun of it but i found
it to be an invaluable and precious tool, at more than one occasion. :)
I have an even more humble profile to work with: a 8088 4.77 Mhz with a
pair of 360 Kb drives or a single 720 Kb unit, 512 Kb ~RAM~ and no hard-
drive... The batch-language and a few batch-helpers is all i can manage
with in order to create a Bootable Stand-Alone INet/BBS diskette model i
can refer to as proof that basic INet stuff and BBSing are possible with
practically any LEGACY PC one may still find today (challenging a well).
:)
Batch-writting is only accessorial for that sort of hobby but i had
no other choice as this was the only way for me to glue it all together.

I would much prefer a neatly set utility, written in assembly-code!
Salutations, :)
