This is sort of a question for others, rather than John.

What about some sort of Raid configuration?  I don't know much about
Raid, but doesn't it end up looking like one drive?  I would imagine
that he would need a hardware upgrade, as I think he has Adaptec SCSI,
and would need a Mylex card to get hardware Raid capabilities.

How about using Linux?  Would Linux make it any easier on him?  John, I
think I recall you wanting to run Linux on this machine correct?  The
Jukebox software wouldn't have to be on the same computer as the MP3's
right?

This interests me, since I would like to do a similar thing as well.  I
didn't think I would fill up more than 8gigs, but if John did, so might
I.
