I just wanted to thank Everyone again for the great help on this thread.
Bob, the test installs and samba help for Doug were great! Doug, glad to see
I am not the only one trying to pull this off who had problems with the man
pages ;-). Good Luck and I will let you and everyone know of my progress.

Right now I have the 3 full height scsi drives mounted in the tower and I am
waiting on my $3.95 (or something ridiculous like that) 6 drop SCSI cable
from computergate (TNX Anthony) to get Linux going. I did something crazy
while I am waiting! I installed NT4. (oooou... and a hush falls over the
crowd :) I figured since I had the software and the full overpriced M$
certification books/ training courses, I might as well.

Anyway, I now have the crazy idea that I want to leave NT installed and have
the machine choose it's OS on boot. (Like I won't already have enough to
learn w/ linux).

I also want to have my 2 segate file storage drives accessible/readable by
either OS. If you remember, I have one 2gig maxtor SCSI and two 9 gig
Segate SCSIs for storage. I figure if the 2 segate's are accessible by
either OS, If I trash one OS I can still get to my files via the other. Is
this possible? Does it take some special distro or package? Will everyone
cast me away for some kind of sacrilege ;-)? Let me know if I am exceeding
my bandwidth quota :)

Best,
John (pretty ambitious for a newbie.)
