RFC 822 is the basic one, amended/added-to/modified by a plethora of later ones (though, those changes did not affect the basic scheme of "raw" mail.) I have to respond to the other thread re the "dot-line" yet. I have no idea, never had contact with the FIDOnets around here. At the time that mail went this way I had a telco "data line" (aka X.25) and a 'puter with full 32 _K_bytes of TOTAL memory, <g>. I'm indeed subsribed to this legacy branch of the SurvPC list on an old "free" Belgacom (ex- and still very monoplistic nat.telco). Though the moment I can migrate with keeping my wired-tel no. they have seen me. // Heimo Claasen // <hammer at revobild dot net> // Brussels 2002-02-08 The WebPlace of ReRead - and much to read ==> http://www.revobild.net To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message.
