programs more to their liking.

I'm not sure what you did, but in my recent test, after I
downloaded mail with "nm /receive" I ran "nm2mail mbox.txt" in
the \mail directory, which converted the .txt/.wrk files to a
single unix mailbox, called mbox.txt.

OLIM is a KA9Q mailreader. It reads unix mailboxes and creates
replies in .txt/.wrk format. Netmail downloads mail in .txt/.wrk
format (I don't know why), which must be converted to a unix
mailbox before using OLIM or just about any other mailreader.

KA9Q downloads (pop) mail to a unix mailbox and sends mail in
.txt/.wrk format, so OLIM can be used with KA9Q, without doing
any conversions.

It can be done whether or not it is necessary to convert from
one format to another.

Don't hurry on my account. :-)

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on the need for such
a program.

I have been using Linux for a while now and have barely scratched
the surface. There are hundreds of programs that I haven't tried
yet or don't even know about. I'm not in any rush to start telling
developers what projects they should be working on.
