Hummm... It will be simpler just to use `OLIM'!!! > Well, that's a starting point, certainly! :) I'll just need some time. I'm not sure what you did, but in my recent test, after I downloaded mail with "nm /receive" I ran "nm2mail mbox.txt" in the \mail directory, which converted the .txt/.wrk files to a single unix mailbox, called mbox.txt. OLIM is a KA9Q mailreader. It reads unix mailboxes and creates replies in .txt/.wrk format. Netmail downloads mail in .txt/.wrk format (I don't know why), which must be converted to a unix mailbox before using OLIM or just about any other mailreader. KA9Q downloads (pop) mail to a unix mailbox and sends mail in .txt/.wrk format, so OLIM can be used with KA9Q, without doing any conversions. > Oh well... The good news is that it appears this can be done! 8^D It can be done whether or not it is necessary to convert from one format to another. > `C-Kermit v8.0.2x' was released recently > and it is said to support ~FTP~/~HTTP~! Don't let the Linux people think it can't be done! I have been using Linux for a while now and have barely scratched the surface. There are hundreds of programs that I haven't tried yet or don't even know about. I'm not in any rush to start telling developers what projects they should be working on.
