Hmm,
Interesting that the Brits can't seem to locate an old computer to
read the media the Doomsday Book was written to...instead of hiring
a team of "experts" to devise an "emulator" to translate it to "todays"
computer base, I'd bet if they ASKED THE PUBLIC, someone somewhere would
have one of those old systems sitting around!  If you hadn't told us
it was British doing this, I'd have guess it to be USA and Microsoft!
The kicker is this...even after they get their emulator done, and
translate the book to current standards, what will happen in another 15
years, or probably less given the rate of change in the computer
industry?
