Anthony Albert mentioned possibly using different resolutions (43 line, 50
line). It's been YEARS since I did any of this with DOS, but are there any
utilities that can adjust the screen refresh rate for different resoltuions?
I seem to recall that there were, but that it depended on the video card
hardware vendor. I'm wondering if perhaps the video card is providing an
'enhanced' intended for a different monitor/type. Garry, your suggestion to
try another video adapter should resolve the issue quickly enough, but even
if the existing card is the only choice, perhaps there are tweaks for it.
