Frits,
While others have suggested Pegasus Mail for Win3X, I prefer
FoxMail Version 1.6, mainly because it is quite smaller than
Pegasus (less than 1 meg HD installed vs. over 3 meg) and
starts faster.  It also has a "Remote Mailbox" function where
you can basically telnet into your ISPs POP server and check
the email headers prior to downloading the full email, or if
there is a problem message, delete it without having to d/l
the message to your HD.  I've also used the email app that
comes with MS IE3.03, but, it isn't near as good as FoxMail.
