Hello All - Many people have wanted to know the history of Windows from it's beginings and those who were 'there' try to fill in the gaps.
Turns out that Microsoft in it's haste to remove support for early Windows versions has come to realize they have business users out there who continue to use early versions of Windows. I recently found a page in the Microsoft KnowledgeBase that details the origins and minimum hardware requirements for all versions of Windows from it's very first release up to version 3.11 (the updated version 3.1). The URL is linked at my own W31 versions page if anyone is interested. Charles Angelich The Ghost in the Machine!
