>>>I still use Windows 3.1 at work for business use!<<< I have Windows 3.1 installed on two of my machines, and run it occasionally to use some older graphics programs I have that demand Windows. Both machines are set to boot to DOS, though, and are used primarily for DOS apps.
Right now my favourite vintage machine, that I use every day, is a GRiD1520 286 laptop. It is a titanium case former military machine, and still in excellent shape at around 15 years of age. I use it for writing small C and QuickBasic programs, and word processing. It is a true classic, in my opinion, and a pleasure to work on... once you get used to the non-standard keyboard. Of course, it is no replacement for a modern machine.... but is sure is fun! -wittig http://www.robertwittig.com/ A business is as honest as its advertisements. .
