Charles,
I still use Windows 3.1 at work for business use!
I use it to run my order entry, inventory, catalogue
list from my pharmaceutical wholesaler. They also
have a "32 bit" version, but the PC at work only has
8 meg RAM, so while Win95 might operate on it, it
would be so slow as to take way to long when I need
information about a new medication, or an order
number for a product, right now. Windows 3.1 is
still a favorite of mine...the other thing that
keeps me running Win3X is I don't have to worry
as much about all those nasty email trojans that
have been unleashed upon the Win9X world! So, I
have to concur with your statement about a number
of businesses are still using Win3X, and we are
still getting the job done!
C U L8R!
Glenn
