I don't have a cable modem, but, FWIW, my P133 came with a cheap
Realtek 8029 PCI NIC (ne2k-pci), which I am using now with Slack
7.1. If necessary, I can replace it with a 3Com 3c509 ISA. I use
these in my other boxes and now have a spare (from my dead 386).
