You're right, I didn't look at the shipping charge, or I would have
mentioned it.
On the other hand, that's how some sites make their money - charging
their profit as a "handling" cost, and reducing the price of the items
by that amount. It is something to be aware of when shopping. I
don't believe it's gouging, as long as the cost to ship is plainly
available. Personally, I think the usual auto dealer tactic of "we'll
up the price $1000, then give $1000 cash back!" or for some ink-jet
printers I've seen lately, where the printer is "free", after a rebate
for the price of the printer, but they they get you on the ink
catriges, are a lot less ethical.
Regardless, though, I still think, even at $11, that it's a reasonable
price for a hopefully simple upgrade to a working existing system.
