Greetings fellow Linux users!!

I have a couple of questions to ask........

1. Is it possible to store files lets say DOS/WIN/WIN95 files using their
conventions (ie, filename, and length) on a ext2 partition?! What I am trying
to say is that can anyone upload a windows file to my linux box and then
retrieve it at a later date without the file being corrupted?!

2. What would be the best replacement for the standard ftp daemon? I don't
necessarily want the most features. I used to use Serv-U FTP under win95, and
if I can have something of that nature and of that power and capability, I
will be GLADLY happy!!
