As long as you have vfat compiled into your kernel, you shouldn't
have any problem. The only glitch might be long filenames if you
don't have vfat. Linux dosn't corrupt files, (as some other os's
are known to do) :-)
I send files back and forth between fat16, fat32, and ext2 partitions
without problem.
You will need to keep in my the carriage-return-new-line problem
in text files. Linux has a couple of utilities called dos2unix and
unix2dos. For example, if you download, or create a perl script with
windows,
then try to transfer it over to linux and run it, you will get alot
of errors if you don't run it thru dos2unix first.
If you are uploading alot of text files to your linux box, then
transferring
them to your windows system, it might be better to zip them up first.
