I'm embarrassed to give a simple answer, but "swap with known good
ones".
Sometimes just removing them and putting them back restores good
mettallic
contact.
I would say to whip out a digital voltmeter, but I'm not positive what
the resistance should be. Probably 50 ohms. But the cable can only
really be checked for shorts or opens, since high frequencies are
involved, a simple ohmmeter check won't be reliable enough.
