My memory may be failing, but didn't I see one or more posts here about 
utilities that allow "tuning" of TCP parameters like MTU, Window size, 
etc? Or maybe it related to tuning the modem serial port. Dunno. 
(Wasn't 'setserial' though).

My problem is that Netscape seems to load some pages very fast, but 
freezes part way through, requiring a killall. Almost like a buffer 
overrun or something.
