The only thing I can tell is that I have some problems with my SCSI Pionner
CD and SuSE 6 using aic7xxx. I have a mainboard ASUS PB2DS / AIC7890
onboard controller.
Right now I have one processor only.
The CDROM is detected but does not fuction well particularly when I am
using Yast to install or desinstall packages !

Thanks for asking this question I am sure that very quickly you will get
some usefull help from the list folks !
