Lenz,
I booted up from the CDROM and it seems like SuSE automatically
loaded the aic7xxx driver. When I got to the linuxrc screen, I tried to
load SCSI module but there's a warning saying SCSI module already loaded
so I guess it's there.

Sometimes, during bootup, it will display the following error :

Kernel panic:aic7xxx:AWAITING_MSG for a SCB that does not have a waiting
message.

In swapper task - not syncing

What could be the problem here?

thanks.
