Hi, newbie question:- Using SuSE 5.3/kernel 2.0.36 on an old box (586
100mhz,512mb hdd, 72Mb RAM). I set it up with a swapfile of only 32Mb
because of space shortage. Watching resources using top I find that in
order to use the swapfile i need to load 7 copies of Worperfect8 + 3
copies of Netscape4.5 + 5 xterms (all running xaos with the rotating
palette option - to load up the CPU). My Q is is a swapfile really
essential?????
