Ok- I tried the xvidtune... While it did improve the resolution it did nothing
for the screen size. It would move the screen around but not eliminate any of
the black border. Ive read and printed the man page, tried adjusting... it would
get to the maximun and then beep to signify no more adjustment was possible, Id
check apply and Im still left with a very small x desktop.
My real gripe is... the onboard card gave me a much larger desktop but with much
lower resolution
Ive visited SuSe site FAQ where it talks about this exact problem but the
suggestions dont seem to work in my situation.
any other ideas? (please tell me if you think Im missing something...)
thanks
