Have you sent up networking for the card on win 95?
Did you add a tcp/ip adapter for the eth card in 95?
eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:C0:F0:32:05:03
inet addr:192.168.1.1 Bc
you should have an ip on 95 such as 192.168.1.X where X would be another # s
set the eth card on 95 in network tcp/ip properties
ip address specify address 192.168.1.2 add subnet 255.255.255.0
disable wins configuration
gateway your linux ip #
DNS your providers DNS #s
Host you 95 machine name (as it apears in network neghiborhood)
domain your providers domain name
reboot 95 and you should be able to ping and ftp telnet etc from 95 to linnux
also, ip masq and firewall are included in the 5.3 stock kernel
(not sure if this will work for you... but it works for me ;-)
