Hi I've been trying, without success, to install SuSE 5.3 on a very old 386 laptop with a plip connection to my main linux box. The plip and nfs connections are working fine - however, once I've chosen the packages to install with YaST, it begins the installation, then tells me an error occured - looking in the /var/lib/YaST directory at the file YaST.err I see - Sat Mar 27 12:12:10 1999 ERROR: Open Output File, DETAIL: 0 FILE: SystemCmd.cc LINE: 506 program aborted! If anyone can give me any ideas as to how to resolve this - or point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful :) TIA -- Pete [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------------------------------------- Linux Registered User # 100652 - Uptime 24 hours, and counting... -- This tagline only uses recycled keystrokes. -- -- To get out of this list, please send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ and the archive at http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html
