Hi

I've been trying, without success, to install SuSE 5.3 on a
very old 386 laptop with a plip connection to my main linux
box.

The plip and nfs connections are working fine - however, once
I've chosen the packages to install with YaST, it begins the
installation, then tells me an error occured - looking in
the /var/lib/YaST directory at the file YaST.err I see -

Sat Mar 27 12:12:10 1999
ERROR: Open Output File, DETAIL: 0 FILE: SystemCmd.cc LINE: 506
program aborted!

If anyone can give me any ideas as to how to resolve this - or
point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful :)

TIA
