Hello everybody! I want to use 2.2.4 kernel with my SuSE 6.0 distro. When I invoke kppp and try to establish connection with the Internet kppp tries to initialize the modem and does it infinetely and looks like a frosen. I returned to my previous 2.0.36 kernel through LILO reconfiguration and everything is working again with the same setting in YAST, rcconfig, resolveconfig, /ppp and so on. What is a problem ? When I compiled new 2.2.4 kernel I included all nessesary PPP SLIP supports. What and where should I tweak in the setting to make my modem work?
