Every time I reboot my system my printer resumes printing a postscript
file as ascii text Ie., a bunch of meaningless characters. /var/spool
looks like this:
bash-2.02# ls -R /var/spool/l*
/var/spool/locks:
samba subsys
/var/spool/../lock/samba:
/var/spool/../lock/subsys:
httpd
/var/spool/../lock/subsys/httpd:
httpd.accept.lock.22736 httpd.accept.lock.4819 httpd.accept.lock.5030
/var/spool/lp:
/var/spool/lp1:
/var/spool/lpd:
bjc600-letter-ascii-mono-360 bjc600-letter-raw
bjc600-letter-auto-color-360 lock.nariana
bjc600-letter-auto-mono-360
/var/spool/lpd/bjc600-letter-ascii-mono-360:
acct lock log status
/var/spool/lpd/bjc600-letter-auto-color-360:
acct lock log status
/var/spool/lpd/bjc600-letter-auto-mono-360:
acct lock log status
/var/spool/lpd/bjc600-letter-raw:
acct lock log status
bash-2.02#
I don't understand printing to save my life. I need to get this fixed.
What do I do?
TIA,
Steve
