Hi,

Sorry, it is off topic...
I bought a Diamond Viper v550 videocard with 16M SDRAM (PCI).
It works great in linux (with SVGA sever) and in MS Windows.
However, glquake does not run well --> I get very-very dark image.
I tried it under Windows only, but assume to see the same in linux.
The quake's built-in brightness control does not affect the brightness at
all. On the other hand it renders 50 fps @ 640x480 on my PPro 150 in
quake 1 (that stunned me).
It works OK but slow with plain (svgalib) quake 1 (27 fps @ 320x240).
But that is not why I bought the card!

Does anybody know a solution to this brightness problem?
