Oh, wow, I didn't know that there was actually a thing with NVidia
chipses. That explains my orginal question as to why things are so slow.
At least I know that it is nothing that I have done or not done myself. I
agree about buying a card using Linux friendly chipsets. Perhaps it is
time for a new card then to finally cleanse myself of that sloppy slopp
microsloppy world.
