Congrats on the hardware pickup.

I am also running a sun4m with dual-processor architecture.  Runs great.  Be
sure you are using an SMP kernel, of course...

I have not used the leo card.  I understand it's 24 bits, but runs very hot
and very slow.

ON the other hand, some good news:  You should be able to add the VRAM to an
SS20 (if you don't already have it) to bump it to 24-bit color, without
taking up 2 sbus slots with a leo.  These VRAM kits were going for under $40
on eBay recently.
