Want to sell? :-) I currently am using an Ultra 5 w/256MB and two HD's for my utility download/file server box here. No CD -- replaced it with a drive caddy assembly for a 60GB HD, with a 2.5 notebook HD (5GB) for boot. It's running Aurora 0.32 at this time. I also have a U10 at home with 768MB RAM and a 9GB HD, with a matching drive caddy system so the 60GB drive from the 5 can be plugged in. I'm still in the process of setting it up like I want -- one thing I'm looking at trying to do is getting OpenOffice.org running there, if it won't be too slow. This is the only system I have (other than my Athlon laptop) that has a monitor. I am running an SS5 and an SS4 for webservers -- the 4 with an external SCSI rack with a DAT, CD, and 4.5GB drive running cool. I also have a handful of SPARCclassics and a couple of IPC's. One fo the places I work for has 30 U30's that I'm planning on clustering with a form of MOSIX, if I can get the patch to apply and run. I'm using a combination of OpenBSD, Aurora, SuSE, and Red Hat 6.2 (which is soon going to be upgraded to Aurora) on these machines. I find the Aurora dist does several things faster than SuSE 7.3, the most notable being the SSH startup time. No YaST, of course, but it does have a working up2date, but no current repository as yet. -- Lamar Owen WGCR Internet Radio 1 Peter 4:11 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
