After 2 weeks, I'm finally giving up on getting my
Yamaha SCSI cd-burner running on my Ultra 2.
Has anyone made a SCSI burner work with cdrecord
v1.9 or 1.10 on SuSE 7.1 or 7.3 ?
cdrecord -scanbus just won't identify anything on
the scsi bus as a cd-burner! They all show as "fake adaptec"
devices.
If I can't make this work, I'm giving this SCSI
burner to my co-worker to run on his PC....that's a disgrace. I've had no
problem running ide atapi CD burners on an x86 linux box. This pure-SCSI burner
should be a snap on the Sparc!
What's wrong?
