Dear developers,
thank you for your wonderful effort. It is *almost* working on a Packard
Bell EasyNote R6610 running Debian unstable. I attach the output from
lspci and 's2ram -n'. The kernel is:

*Almost* because I have tried all possible combinations reported in
http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram, with no success. The laptop suspends
properly and probably does resume, but the screen is completely black.
The laptop then responds to the Alt-PrintScreen-B (reboots) but does not
reboot by writing a blind 'reboot' on the console. This has always been
tried using the init=/bin/bash on the startup line.
The last combination, the only one that almost works, is "vga=0 s2ram -f
-p -s". Almost in the sense that I get the screen back, but I get also
some spurious lines. The problem is that without vga=0x314, I get a
console that does not have the proper number of lines and it is
basically unusable.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
