Hi, My Dell Latitude D420 does not seem to be known by s2ram. Here is the output from s2ram -i :
This machine can be identified by: sys_vendor = "Dell Inc." sys_product = "Latitude D420 " sys_version = "" bios_version = "A01" Booting with init=/bin/bash as suggested, suspend works fine with s2ram -f, several times in a row (at least with my Debian 2.6.18-3 kernel). However if I want to suspend during normal use (X with KDE session), using the powersave wrapper scripts, then suspend/resume only works once. On the second try, the system fails to resume and displays a black screen with just "Linu" written in yellow letters on the top line ; it does not seem to respond to network either. This might not be the best place to report this bug but feel free to suggest a better one...
