What about an exciting venue for a company picnic? A family reunion? Class
reunion?

Take advantage of Cass Park and Cayuga Lake at the 2013 Finger Lakes
International Dragon Boat Festival (FLIDBF). The festival will be on *July
13th and 14th*, and we are looking for groups to represent our diverse
community! Teams are already forming, such as Ithaca Material Research,
Cornell Cooperative Extension, the Ithaca/Tompkins YMCA and the Oswego
YMCA.

*It's time to gather 20 of your closest friends* and paddle the Cayuga
Inlet on July 13th! Each team will have the opportunity to practice
beginning in June, and are guaranteed three practices before the festival.
The cost for a community team is $700, or $35 a person for a team of 20. On
race day, the winning team will get medals and a cash prize that they then
donate to a non-profit or charitable organization.

*Dragon Boating is a great way to bring people together!* Have your
employer sponsor your team to help cut the cost! It's great advertisement
to thousands of attendees. O*r, you can host your office picnic, family
reunion, class reunion, graduation party and more.* Encourage your friends
to bring a dish to pass, set up a tent, and enjoy a BBQ before or after
racing. There will be music, games, dancing, food and of course, our
traditional Eye-Dotting Ceremony. *New this year: Child Care Provided by
the YMCA!
