Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County (NY) is looking for an educator to join our Energy Team. We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience showing homeowners, renters, business owners, and others in our community how to reduce their energy use. This person will lead a diverse team of passionate staff and work collaboratively with many community partners on innovative and creative education and outreach efforts designed to help people better understand their energy use and take steps to reduce it and transition to clean energy sources. The Energy Educator will assist in creating engaging and effective programs and be responsible for delivering those programs to a wide range of community members. The successful candidate will work closely with other Energy Team members and supervise staff, volunteers and interns in program delivery. We are seeking a new team member to work with us from our Binghamton offices. The position is 40-hours per week and based in Ithaca, NY.
