I conjuction with all this discussion of 4x4 and in line with our other
interests, I came across a site that mentioned a hybrid electric truck with
wheel motors built by Ferdinand Porsche in Austria, I think around the turn
of the century. It was used in the mountains. Old becomes new again, eh?
