Time marches on as deals escalate with "The Soft Money Laundromat" http://www.commoncause.org/laundromat from this page a link to a brief historical run down "SOFT MONEY: WHAT IS IT AND WHY IS IT A PROBLEM?" http://www.commoncause.org/laundromat/stat/softmoney.cfm
