When we are fully ready to be commercial producers, we won't have a market except through them. When we starve out or go broke, they will have it all to themselves.
I've been trying for several months to interconnect a generator to the grid, and have been stonewalled at every step. The temptation is very strong to just hook it up without their permission or authority, but I know they would shut off my access instantly. I'm not ready to be totally electrically self-sufficient.
