Sorry for my belated response in answer to the incomplete message I sent: .
See Kieth's Msg #12178 for a more complete description of the thnktnk
project. In brief, Dana Lindscott is project leader of the "thnktnk" group,
of which I am a member. There are six of us altogether.
Quoting from Kieth's #`12178 message:
"Dana wrote to them (members of the thnktnk group) 'I am forming a project
team with a primary goal of quickly gathering and compiling all the available
information on Biodiesel production using alternative (to traditional)
methods. The secondary goal will be to determine which of these alternative
methods, if any, hold the greatest promise of being applied to small (home)
scale biodiesel production."
Kieth continued:
"And a bit later, Dana wrote:
'We will attempt to 1. Quickly and throughly research currently existing
promising alternative methods of Biodiesel production which do not involve
methoxide as a catalyst.
2. Determine which of these methjods have the
highest probability of use as a simple, practical, small scale method of
Biodiesel production.'
The job should be finished in three weeks he (Dana) said."

There has been little activity of the tnnktnk group in the last few weeks.
And Dana would probably agree that the work of the group has not been
completed.
