I'm assuming that you must be a new member. Your response was in relation to "my" post .... yet most members here know that I'm far from being a "leftist".
I argue "for" gun ownership. Though not what the mainstream calls christian-christian .... I usually argue from a (more or less) "Judeo-Christian-y -eeeee" kinda/sorta point of view (Just ask Todd/Subject=Gaia Was: Religion). I'm for original-formula American-founding-father brand of .... ahem .... "freedom". I'm usually "for" the reduction of taxes. I'm for reducing the size and pervasiveness of Government. I'm just taken aback ... being used as an example of being a .... er ... "leftist". I've always thought of myself as more or less "conservative" (old school values).
