I tried McDonalds in Germany (headquarter is in Munich) with the following
result: The have internal rules what has to happen with the used fryer fat:
It has to be recycled (means: not burned) and there are specific recyclers
that it has to go to (all franchisers seem to have to sign these
contracts). I called one of theses recyclers. He told me that he is making
Biodiesel out of it and does not want to sell any of the used fat to me.
I tried to get it from one of the franchisers but they denied to talk to me
about this topic in general. They seem to get around 10- 15 Euro Cent paid
for the used fat.
If anyone has a good idea to get it from s.o. else please tell me.
Price for Methanol (again in Germany) from Brenntag is in 22 kg 242
Euro/100 kg (22 kg is around 30 litres). I do not know yet what the 155
litres drums will cost.

KFC, McDonalds, etc ? - Do they trow it away ? - Can we ask them for
it ?
