I stumbled on something recently -- was waiting to reproduce it before making a big deal. I've been able to get glycerine separation using a mixture of 80% ethanol and 20% methanol for the alcohol portion (250 ml per liter of oil) -- nothing new. But the ethanol portion was only 188 prf (94% EtOH, 6% water). Sometimes it separates all by itself, but I'm playing with additives to hasten the process. Clay, hydrated lime, etc.
