>Wold the local parts store, O'Reillys, have >it? I see where someone paid 45.00 for 5 gallons?? Can you get >smaller amounts? >I am not even 100% sure this will be for me and I hate to get 5 gallons, make >a small test batch and then give up on the idea............. For small test batches, get some DriGas and Red Devil lye, some NEW oil, and go ahead - do single-stage. One type of DriGas is methanol, another is isopropanol, make sure to get the methanol one. Start here: "Where do I start?" http://journeytoforever.org/biodiesel_make.html#start "It's all quite simple really, thousands of people are doing it, very few of them are chemists or technicians, and there's nothing a layman can't understand, and do, and do it well. But there is quite a lot to learn. You should find everything you need to know right here. We've tried to make it easy for you." >Gosh I guess if it was easy everyone would do it Maybe everyone thinks that way. Except everyone here. It's easy. It's been compared with baking bread or doing a bit of gardening. Best Keith >Charlene ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Make a clean sweep of pop-up ads. Yahoo!
