Hello All, I don't know about diethyl ether being used as an aid for winterizing biodiesel, but the precautionary warning on handling is worth some review. The link below is an MSDS on it.

Quite a lot of people are working on biodiesel winterisers, including some very competent people, from my discussions with some of them I'd say they've tried all the potential quick fixes.
