(Not to worry! I just look republican. Can't seem to get the
goose step down right so they keep threatening to revoke my
membership..  :-)

Knowing what others are doing or might do is valuable.

However, human intervention in genetics, rather than human
abatement of human created problems is not the solution.

What if I want to keep my crop non-GMO and a neighbor's crop
cross pollinates? It's happening with frequency, forcing people
out of the market niches they scraped out for themselves for
decades. All for what? A little more highway "freedom?" A
slightly higher yield? A supposedly slightly easier method of
production?

More along the lines of a greater degree of dependence upon GM
seed mills and degradation of genetic diversity.

No. GMO is not an answer to fuel woes or an answer to almost
anything. It's a cop out that's going to cost us all.
