Mike,

Keller's view of communism is atypical for a
National Socialist, the Nazi movement was heavily
funded and supported by the German
industrialists. They viewed National socialism as
very positive for the productivity and economy,
with Hitler as their man it could be especially
profitable for the industry. The whole post is
trying to prove that the subject heading is valid
and bring forward the parallels with what is
happening today in US and the views that are
brought forward by the current administration and
their industrial supporters. The National
Socialism preached lebensraum and superiority,
that meant access to resources and growth of the
industry, with a suppressed lower working class
as a industrial resource. The world leaders were
the Germans, they were both physically,
intellectually and military superior and the
bastion against communism. Before the war, it
was strong support of National Socialism in many
industrialized countries, something that most of
them do their best to forget and historically suppress.

The question is if the US version of National
Socialism Triumphs is a reality in USA, as it was in Germany?

Personally, I do not belive that US would be able
to develop in the same way and that the current
education levels in US, are the best defence
against it. Even if you can argue that they are
both examples of elected democracies in the
initial phases. I do not think that US will
develop to a dictatorship and I hope that I am right.
